I Still Believe In Miracles.

I arrived at Inverleith House just as they were shutting up for the day, an ironic situation given that news broke in the Scottish press about the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh closing down this world-renowned and quite unique art gallery after three decades; surprise news that has caused great uproar in Edinburgh's cultural circles.

The doors will finally shut this weekend with the closure of it's current show - another irony given that it was the thirtieth anniversary retrospective exhibition.

Their exhibitions might not always have been my cup of tea, but it would be a great loss to Edinburgh to lose this particular cultural gem.
