Progress?

L has been Diabetic for many years and she has had her Insulin Pen for at least the last 5, that is the one at the bottom. When the phial of Insulin is empty she puts in a new one and carries on using it.
However when she went to renew her supply of Insulin she found they no longer make the replacement phials, instead she got a packet containing 10 of the upper pens, look the same, except when empty you throw the whole thing away! No wonder the costs of Health Care are rocketing! What about all the extra rubbish to be disposed of? Progress they call it!
