Tilting at windmills
Huge numbers of crows seem to inhabit Suwalki. They used to say that it was so far East that even the crows turned back. Suwalki is really looking quite good these days, a former garrison town for Russian Czarist troops.
I took a wander to take a few shots of the windmills which seem to be contentious already. Personally I'd say that the pylons are more offensive to the eye. I wonder why they can't bury the cables. It's better to be neither for or against like L. Walesa, then you can upset everyone:) (He has a reputation for this concept)
The shots of the windmills were rather neutral, so here are the crows with a slow shutter. They don't seem to mind this unprepossessing August.
