Lovely views

from this farm site over Gloucestershire countryside. This is the orchard where we stayed with some larger trees still to change colour. The hedgerows along the roads were so beautiful.
Trouble free journey? Well, ahem, not quite. The jockey wheel on caravan was not clamped tight enough and dropped to the ground. We had noticed a noise which we couldn't determine and pulled into layby where we were greeted by a man waving his arms. Thought he was in trouble, but no, he had passed us and saw the problem but couldn't do anything as road was busy, so think he was relieved when we pulled in. The wheel tyre needed replacing anyway, so that's no great loss.
That's the last outing for the caravan this year, the wheels will be coming off and stored until next year, when we can go out again and have fun........
