I booked us a really cheap nights stay in a Travelodge in Doncaster - and was well chuffed with the gorgeous view from the room! We walked round the lake after finishing work, and had a meal at a nearby pub. Evening brought a big flock of white birds on the water and a distant roar from the football ground.
