King Spider Orchids

We went up to Hahndorf for lunch today to help the Rower's sister celebrate her 70th Birthday.  We had a very nice time, and I persuaded the Rower to call into the Park for 5 minutes so I could get a blip.

Golly, but I'm getting frustrated.  What possessed me to sell my 100mm lens I do not know.

Anyway, be that as it may, here are a couple of King Spider Orchids.  I've never seen so many.

In extras there is a skink that I nearly sent to an unpleasant end.   He was sunning himself on the handle of my trowel.  Luckily I saw him in time.
