Hayden's barn

Another farm was sold off. This time to build a school. I was happy when the county offered the torn down barn wood to the public for free. We had to sign a wavier releasing the county of any liability then the fun began. Everyone was so kind to each other, offering a helping hand, no grabbing or hogging, everyone got what they came for. I was worried when we pulled up and there was more than 20 trucks and trailers in front of us but there was enough for all and we ended up with about 10 16' boards 2+" thick and 10" to 12" wide, all oak. We are thinking of making a dining room table with ours. The best part was seeing the kindness everyone showed to each other.
