Engine House

This shows what can be achieved from the ruins of an old engine house. This is Wheal Kitty. The "House" is actually a set of offices now but you get the idea, I hope. On the reverse wall, facing the sea and the setting sun is a gorgeous wooden balconey. The black marks are the end plates of large tie-rods which run the width of the building preventing the walls from bowing outwards.
