So bright!

My mother, as mothers often do, succeeded where I had failed. She took 'my' (her) car out last night and found the dial for turning up the dash lights. I was nearly blinded when i set out this evening, after years of 'ambient' lighting. Whilst looking to turn them down a little again I did find another couple of buttons that changed things, but the dash dimmer still eludes me...
