Leaf Walk

We were headed to the golf course when we got a call from Steph telling us that Sammi had been hit by a car on his daily bike ride to work. We dropped everything to take care of Gus while Steph stayed with Sammi in the hospital. He has a broken wrist and elbow and a lot of road rash and soreness, but thank God he is otherwise ok. He loves his bike ride to and from work and did it when they lived in NYC too, but it always worries me, especially during the dark and rainy winter.
Grateful today...that Sammi will be ok. He's banged up but he's alive, and he will mend.
