Like my new outfit?

Back to downtown Nassau first thing for another dose of their particular brand of mayhem, that ranges from bizarre to polite mugging!!!

The “plan” (as were slowly realising has to be flexible) was to book onto the glass bottom boat for a three hour tour round the island. Alarm bells started ringing when they took our money and said come back at 1-00pm and ask for Elvis . .

Well at 1-00pm Elvis had definitely left the island, leaving us with Thomas, who not only was to take us round the island but also let us feed the fish!! (with a boat that technically didn’t really have a glass bottom, or seem seaworthy!) Thankfully as only 2 others had booked the glass bottom boat option everyone concerned seemed to be happy with the decision to call it a day.

That left us with the boat money budget and half the day to go, so Junkanoo beach with its bikini and coconut bars was our new destination.

When the wind got up we retired to the previously spotted “Senior Frog” establishment right on the seafront for “fried ice cream”?!? and hilarious entertainment from karaoke customers, who in our humble option were peaking far too early!!

Finally it was time for the Water ferry home (with commentary), pool,  takeaway pizza, and bed.
