Chairs For Africa

A press photocall at Portobello High School. The old school is to be knocked down and the pupils move into the new one next week. The council is doing it's best to re-use as much of the old equipment as possible. Some things are being used in other Edinburgh schools but a thousand desks and chairs are being sent to Ghana as part of an initiative working with the charity Chance For Africa. Here Zak, founder of the charity and married to a former pupil at the school, poses for the photographers who were there covering the event.
