Playa Caleto Blanco

Our usual two hours of yoga on the roof terrace looking at the rising sun over the sea. Then a trip to Cesar Manriques house, the man responsible for some interesting sculpture around the island as well as ensuring no buildings were more than two stories high, a sculptor, artist, designer, gardener and strong supporter of the local culture and traditions here.
Off to the stunning beach of Caleto Blanco, white shell sand, black lava rocks with hardy vegetation and a turquoise sea protected by a reef, all with a back drop of volcanic mountains.
