Reflections.....

Another busy cattle day. Luckily yesterday's Blip calf looked like it had sucked by this morning, so that was one less thing to worry about.
Spent the day rodeoing 2 batches of heifers down from the hill for the winter. Went a lot better than some years, all fences survived in one piece and only a few attempted break aways .
Spent the afternoon clipping backs and vaccinating some of them , with only a stop to straighten and weld the headstock on the cattle crush after one beast took a run at it at full speed .
Mrs F got new tops fitted to the Aga lids yesterday. All very bright and glittery ( for a wee while ! )
