Geese

A walk around Deerness from Lighthouses Corner to the Covenanters Memorial, then through Mull Head reserve and then helping Alan Leitch do some ringing at East Denwick plantation. Birds included- lots of goldcrests, blackcaps, chiffchaffs, redpoll, redwings, fieldfares, bramblings, pink-
footed and greylag geese, 1 hen harrier (which I saw catch an Orkney vole), stonechats, 2 woodcock etc.
