Crossing the Aqueduct

I went for a walk around the Chirk area today and walked on the towpath alongside the Llangollen Canal on the Aqueduct which was built by Thomas Telford. It would have made a better photo if a train had been crossing the Viaduct but it was not to be.

There were quite a few narrowboats around making the most of the late sunshine. I couldn't decide which shot to use so  have put an extra of a passing boat as I walked along the towpath.
