gardening girls

I was invited to lunch with my neighbour D and her group of gardening girls.
Every Tuesday, the six of them (time and other commitments allowing) meet at one or others garden and work for three hours or so, the chores of the morning depending on season and what needs doing.
With different ares of expertise, landscaping, pruning, planting, propagating and all round green fingers it is such a great idea and needless to say their gardens are a treat to behold.
This is J with her Doctor Who scarf. If there is such a thing as an amateur master gardener she would be just that person, transforming her own very ordinary house and garden (her words) into a real gem.
