Sunset Cruise
The very low tides this week have allowed me to get far out onto the beach timed perfectly at sunset.
A little serendipity this evening as the Queen Mary 2 cruise ship was leaving Southampton under the afterglow. She was so close I could hear people shouting to friends on a nearby yacht.
As she passed by I took some shots of the ship with all her lights glowing, one is the extras.
I don't normally take sunsets but couldn't resist this rather special one also in the extras.
Best viewed large against the black background I think.
Just noticed that this is my 1500th blip. Not a real anniversary but never thought I would tot up so many.
