Journal Writing

Due to the weather being quite dull and rainy today, I decided to get up to date on my journal writing. While we are keeping an online diary of what we do, I also want to take pen to paper and have somewhere to stick tickets, receipts etc of cool things we do. Before we left for Canada, we received a lot of lovely gifts from family and friends, some of which included travel journals and letter writing kits, so today I put them to good use. The journals also have different sections including 'favourite places' so I was able to write about where we have visited so far. 

I have also agreed to be a pen-pal for the primary 7 class in the school I worked in back home. My friend is currently their teacher and wants them to work on their letter writing skills after the October break. I therefore decided to write them a letter that I hope will reach them by the time they get back to school for the new term. I look forward to reading their replies!
