Phormium
This week's Alphabet Challenge is P is for Pointed. Today I visited my friend as usual and spotted this in her garden - pointed leaves! It is huge, much bigger than me, about 7-8 ft in both height and width. She told me it is called Phormium. I looked it up and found it is a flax native to New Zealand, blooms in early summer with a very tall flower spike, and the leaves produce long, strong fibres.
