Reculver Church

Another lovely day in Kent, mostly sunny and very windy on the coast. We visted Rochester first off, lovely place, we did a self guided walk around the town to see all the main bits.

We then drove down the coast to Whitstable, another agreeable place, we bad a late lunch of vegetable soup in a pub which didn't look very promising but as we'd left it so late we were short of options but as it turned out it was lovely homemade soup and yummy bread....and they allowed the dog in....result!

We then to Reculver Church...or what's left of it...on recommendation from MerlotsDad. It is set in a country park just outside Herne Bay. We had a very blustery walk to church and beyond onto the sea wall. There is also great views to the Maunsell Forts, Google them...they're amazing!

We then drove back to tge campsite via Margate and Broadstairs.
