Man at Work

I enjoy watching someone working, especially when he's doing something I would otherwise have to do myself.

When we bought our house ten years ago, I decided to let the cedar deck weather to a natural grey color. It did that, but lichen grew on it, and it was looking ugly. With a high-pressure water sprayer, Uriah made it look almost as good as new today. After it's dry, he'll come back on Friday and apply a coat of semitransparent sealer, which will give a more uniform grey color and help prevent future growth of lichen.

He's protecting his hearing, and at the same time listening to a classical music radio station. A wise man!
