Battleship Hill

Seen from the entrance of the old County Hospital, which is now covered by a number of very expensive houses.

The real name of the 420ft hill is Cnoc Carnach. It was once wooded, but the timber was cut during WW1 and it was never replanted. During WW2 it was an observation post and gun emplacement.
