Oatlands Girl has been a collaborative community project involving pupils from St Francis, Blackfriars,& Hampden Primary schools as well as community groups and community members of Oatlands.

The youthful profile of Oatlands Girl symbolises the present and future aspirations of the community while the floating pages are a visual metaphor of the memories and past heritage shared by memebrs of the community.
