Comfort and Joy

Back in the Autumn we were knee deep in work for a new pub in Kirkwall. It was hard work but great fun, and the pub looks great. It's a very satisfying experience to see your work put into place in so many different ways. Although sometimes it can be very difficult to explain to people exactly what it is that we do (most days I wonder myself).

Anyway... whilst we were on site we decided that the best seat in the place was to become somewhere that we could put our feet up and watch the world go by. So we promised ourself that we would treat ourselves to christmas lunch by the glowing fire.

Today we did just that. Excellent meal and the fireside perch proved the to be the perfect cosy and comfortable place to chat to folk coming in and out of the pub and watch the hailstorm blow by.
