Mono Monday: The Third Man
My grandad Bertram Lancelot Oliver Williams was an RAF Engineering Officer posted to North Africa for four years during World War Two. He is the third man in this photograph seen on the far left. Handsome chap wasn't he?
Bert as he was known to his friends, or Popsy as he was known to his family, was the third man I ever knew in my life after my dad and my other grandad. He passed away when I was just seven but I have fond memories of him.
Not quite sure my blog fits the Film Noir theme so a play on words instead. Thank you dollykgray for the theme and tricky challenge! Next week's theme: The Post Man Only Knocks Twice.
