Autumn leaves were fluttering down from the trees, the ‘candles’ on the horse chestnut have turned into conkers now and the copper beech tree is no longer so obvious.  There are few flowers and no sign of the cowslips, tiny ducklings or little goslings.  The view at the lake in Gosford is very different from that in May.
The extra is of some very small Saddleback piglets who were scampering around while the adults churned up a nearby field.
