Rowan berries

After some heavy rain the sky cleared and the sun came out for the rest of Sunday afternoon. My husband decided to take a short walk, and meeting him on his way back I gathered some berries lying under this Rowan tree.
I had just read in the paper that if planted now in a pot of compost, and left out during the winter, the berries would sprout in the spring.
So let's try it!
Two FaceTime sessions with my grandchildren today, followed by two long phone calls from other family members - but by 9 o'clock all was quiet for the next episode of Poldark!
