LAVENDER & BOMBS...
Lavender is one of my very favourite plants.
My grannie harvested armfuls of these flowers which she would dry on the rack above her Reyburn stove. And then we would strip off the flowers & she made up loads of little muslin bags on her ancient Singer sewing machine...
The lavender bags were hidden in knicker drawers & airing cupboards & wardrobes... She was the ultimate lavender girl - she used Yardley's lavender soap, talcum powder & eau de Cologne!
Have to confess to sending a sh1t-bomb to BlipCentral - judge for yourselves ...
"Dear Blipfoto,
Until I received this email of yours I was under the impression that I was a life member (Ogatodomar - email: devans@skynet.be).
Now, if I've got this right, apparently I'm obliged to re-apply & pay €42.50 per year?
During the Members buyout campaign I donated £100 out of my pathetic pension to help keep Blipfoto afloat which in a way makes me a part owner
Although I have had enormous pleasure uploading my nonsense, meeting new friends & exchanging dubious wisdom with fellow Blipsters - if this is how you intend to treat your life members & part owners then I would be obliged if you would do the decent thing & reimburse my £100.
Your cavalier treatment of enthusiastic supporters is frankly disgraceful."
Yours,
David Evans
