Appalling behaviour

Our friend, Charlotte, has just been to see us and the whole of the time she was here I acted liked a spoilt little brat having a temper tantrum.

Charlotte doesn't really like dogs but I am her favourite dog. Usually when I meet Charlotte I greet her very politely and wouldn't even dream of jumping up at her.

Today my behaviour was absolutely appalling. Ann is sooooo disappointed with me.

Firstly when Charlotte came to our door I did my most ferocious barking. I'm very scary when I do my most ferocious barking. When I realised that it was Charlotte that was coming into our house I stopped doing my most ferocious barking and quickly gobbled up all my dinner (which I'd ignored for half an hour) because I didn't want Charlotte eating it.

Secondly; while Ann was trying to talk to Charlotte I was constantly leaping around in 'show off mode' and barking for absolutely no reason at all. Ann said, 'Molly, it's really rude to interrupt while people are talking. Go and lie down.' …..............I didn't want to go and lie down.

Thirdly; Because I still wasn't getting enough attention, I decided to hump Ann's leg. That got me attention!!!   Ann said, 'Molly, I've had enough of this behaviour. I am going to photograph you with Charlotte and then I am going to tell everyone in Blipland about your appalling behaviour. And by the time I've finished letting everyone in Blipland know how badly behaved you have been, no one will think that you are a gorgeous little collie any more.'

At that point I decided I'd go out to play on the sun terrace but Ann refused to open the door for me. She said, 'Molly, go and sit with Charlotte please.' So I went and sat with Charlotte but first I had a little rummage through Charlotte's bag because I thought she might have some tasty treats in there – but she didn't. And Ann was really cross with me because she said it was really bad manners to go rummaging in other peoples bags.

And I don't really think that Charlotte wanted to sit next to me because I'd just been to the beach for a bit of a splish, splash, splosh and I was a bit stinky.

And then when Charlotte was leaving I escaped out of the front door just as our neighbour and his little person were coming in, so I did my most ferocious barking at them. I thought Charlotte would be impressed at what a good guard dog I am. Ann certainly wasn't impressed. She said, 'Molly, stop scaring the little person. You like little people.' So I stopped doing my most ferocious barking and the little person blew me a kiss.

…...................Now I'm having a little chillax on the sun terrace. ….............I'm hoping that soon I will be back in Ann's good books???!!!
