Blondie
A very lazy Sunday spent inside reading a novel for review, The Secret Letters by Catherine Law. I'm enjoying it but had to put it down a few times as the main character was really frustrating me! I was hoping there might be a nice sunset or I'd get a good shot of the 'super moon'. The sunset was disappointing and the moon was too bright and too blurred because I couldn't be bothered to get the tripod set up.
I's spotted this blonde pheasant on my late afternoon blip walk, in a field near the church, and was quite puzzled by it's pale feathers. After a quick Google it turns out it's a juvenile male. I've never seen one like this before so I am delighted I spotted him!
