Remembering

Today was a busy day of touring. We went to a couple of museums, and we saw the White House.

We decided toward the end of the day to go to the memorial at the Pentagon. It was such a solemn time as we shared with the boys all that happened that horrible day, September 11, 2001. It is a day that neither one of us will forget. So many were lost, including a three year old who was on a plane with her family. The memorial was very well done.
