The Visit

Tonight Hayley invited us to her flat for tea, her festival run has come to an end so she now has plenty of time to chill out and enjoy her new home. So we arrived at the flat with clothes, a TV and some mail in hand and we sat and chatted for a while. Hayley said she was going to get us a chinese for tea so we walked down to the local carry out. Of course, when it came to paying for it the puppy dog eyes won the day and now I'm two or three pound lighter in the wallet.

After tea we got a tour of the flat and to my amazement I noticed that Hayley's bedroom window didn't open as it had been painted shut so after much nifty work with the carving knife, I managed to break the paint and get the window open much to Hayley's relief as her room was like a furnace with no air getting in.

The blip tonight is the view from that said window. Its nice to see her settled in and may I say she makes a mean cup of coffee. She certainly was the hostess with the mostess.
