Towering teasels

When your day has been fairly dull and just involved housework and introducing the child to Robot Wars, it can be a challenge to figure out what to blip.
This is where a nice big macro zoom lens on the dslr comes in. Quick dive out into the front garden this evening to take some pics of the alien looking teasel plants we have. Lots of bees tried to get in the shot, but they were too busy waggling their bums at me. Thankfully this one worked instead.
Don't think I'll be getting shot of my old d70 just yet.
Had a relaxing evening spinning and chatting which has brightened up my day.
