High tides

The last few days we have had terrific gales, with wild seas and waves and the front garden littered with bits of seaweed!  If it hadn't been for Ollie and Scratch needing out, and the hens needing seen to, I don't think I would have been over the step!  I settled down to a jigsaw and the radio.

In the afternoon we got called by our elderly neighbours.  The husband was obviously pretty poorly and I ended up ringing 999 for them.  He was taken by air ambulance to hospital in Aberdeen,  which must have been a bumpy flight in the high winds, but it was definitely the best place for him.  Well done the NHS!
