Woods, Woods And Back To Wood

The day began with a walk in the woods, a special walk to scatter ashes of a friend's much loved dog in his favourite place.

After a bit of a drive, the next walk in the woods was to research some shots for a client. Somewhere we will be visiting again, when it's not raining and when the leaves have had a little longer to change colour.

Back to the lodge for lunch and back to applying stain to wood. We are now almost ready to fit the new joist to the veranda. See extra. Tomorrow we have assistance from someone who knows a lot about wood and tools and making sure jobs get finished. We have two weeks!

In other news a relative contacted me via Facebook yesterday. I was so delighted. Today we exchanged messages about family history and promised each other we would meet up.That will be lovely!
