Pickering WW2/1940s Weekend
Today was our camera club trip to Pickering for the WW2 weekend. We arrived in pouring rain, as forecast - but also as forecast the sun came out in the afternoon.
It's a fabulous place for photographers, with loads of folk of all ages, dressed up and keen to be photographed (I'm very grateful to them all). When I got home I told my Editor I thought I'd taken "about 300" photos but she was amused when I found that I'd taken 760! A lot of them have already been deleted but I still had a lot to choose from for my blip.
So here's 3 at the moment (all of them strangers to me); I'll sort out a flickr album and place a link in a few days if anyone wants to see some more.
