Autumnal Woodland

We didn't manage to get out until quite late afternoon, but the sun was out and the light was beautiful. We had a walk in some local woodland. I'm not 100% sure what these fruits are, but they were there in abundance and it was a fantastic display of nature at its best. I think that they may be 
Spindle (Euonymus europaea). (Thanks Shutterup for confirming this too.)
I rather liked the colours against the gorgeous blue sky.
