Bingley's canal festival

The Leeds Liverpool canal is celebrating its 200th anniversary this year and the Kennet , a former working boat from the canal, is recreating the inaugural  journey from Leeds to Liverpool.
Bingley and other towns have made a feature of it and held a canal festival today.
Mr H , Reggie and I went, and wow, was it busy. I stood little chance of getting a photo of the Kennet or the other boats as I have never seen so many people out and about on the canal. It was truly wonderful to see. As a lover of colour I took this of the reflections of every one stood on the 5 rise locks . I love how the hi viz yellow still stands out in the reflections. I've posted in extras the photo of the locks so you can see it in context.

An amazing afternoon out, - met LoveLupins, - always a delight, and two Airedales. Ronnie , who we know ( the vets have Ronnie and Reggie on their books - thankfully both better mannered than the Kray twins) and Pablo who we have not met before.  I hope they do a similar event next year, who cares if 201st anniversary isn't a round number
