The World Turns Upside Down

Back to the real world. And I don't like it.

Tough day at work, but a spin by Castle Street afterwards where Danny Macaskill was putting on a wee show as part of the Edinburgh Arts Festival. Finishing up with a rather impressive backflip. The swine makes it all look so damned easy. Bumped into a beat Jack and bike Wingpig while there as well, which was nice.

Thanks for all the comments on yesterday's Otter by the way. Short spin by the park tonight yielded nothing, though I think I saw the bubble trail, which stirred up a Moorhen, much like it was doing yesterday.

Tomorrow I'll be commuting in the weird Noomaded bike after sorting out the mount tonight, and replacing a gear cable. The Figgy spin was on that bike, and I have to say it was a bit of a blast. Fun x 3 you could say. Let's see how it feels on a longer commute - expecting some weird looks...
