Introducing Gina

Gina was at the Dahlia Gardens this morning with one of the Dahlia Society’s volunteers who were there for weekly TLC, cleaning and pruning.  She was feisty and full of energy as only a Silky Terrier can be, but she took an immediate dislike to my camera and barked up a storm.  Once she realized that I would be a willing partner in her “fetch the stick”  game, we became good friends.  I was happy to do it so I could snap her when she returned with the stick. Finally, in order to see what kind of stuff I was made of, she returned with an even larger stick (see extra).  I got lots of Dahlia shots and learned a considerable amount about Dahlias from the volunteers, but Gina stole the show.
