A lovely start.....

....to the day!  Had breakfast at The Driftwood cafe, still sitting on the veranda in mid October, and looking over to Wales.  Then walked right along the front in the sunshine - am sure it did me good.  After that we went into Watchet and had a look at the exhibition at Contains Art.  All about the Paper Mill & its closure last year.  So poignant and sad and an excellent portrayal of the last roll of paper being produced.  I didn't realise that paper has been made in Watchet for about 350 years.  

Home after that and just idled the day away........now celebrating, with fizz, the fact that we moved to Stogumber 29 years ago today.  It was the day after the notorious hurricane that Michael Fish predicted wouldn't happen!!!  It did, not the best day to move but that's another story!!
