Those, please

It's amazing what you can buy on a canal walk! 

A bit of a triumph today, as I walked the best part of a mile and a half, which represents real progress - even if it did take me an hour. It's the furthest I've walked since being taken ill over a month ago. The beauty of this stretch of the Kennet and Avon is that there's always something interesting to see, and it has the advantage of being flat! 

We didn't get as far as my favourite tea room at Avoncliffe, so we stopped off at the rather bonkers Lock Inn Cafe - see today's extra photo. 

The boys are cooking a roast dinner and I plan to take it easy for the rest of the day.
