We have had this Clematis for over ten years.  It flowered well in the early years, but for the past few years we have had no flowers.  We thought it was dead, but were reluctant to remove it.  Last year it showed some signs of life but no flowers.  However, this week it has produced one flower, amazing.

I read in the newspaper today that we are entering our storm season now.  Since last winter bad storms have been given names, in line with the American habit.  I am not sure what constitutes a named storm, but there was a history of last years storms which had been given names and they all had winds of over 80mph, and some over 100......interesting...... I wonder what we will get this year.......

Today has been a bit mixed, not much rain, but a little, but the sun is shining right now.
