Broccoli flowers
So pleased to have my camera back that even the most mundane of subjects seems to interest me when viewed through the lens. This year I grew some early purple sprouting broccoli which yielded a small but delicious crop in a matter of weeks and was then decimated by caterpillars of the Large White butterfly as brassicas usually are unless you protect them. I left the roots in as ground cover since I didn't have time to grow much else and now they are coming into flower again. I liked the way they caught the light.
