Cruz de Ferro

And here we are again at the Cruz de Ferro, a few years in but probably no wiser...

Got up nice and early to get to the cross for sunrise but the weather slightly scuppered that plan (see extras for the best we got), the skies were still dramatic though and while quite busy with pilgrims there was still a chance for some nice shots like this, a solo cross effort and a group shot with Jen, Kent and Tony as we walked up together - see extras again, I've gone overboard today!

The rest of the day was spent going down and in my case avoiding knee issues, which I managed by at one point nearly running down to a bench they liked the look of. There followed a quick snack in Molinaseca (last time's destination) before we headed on to Ponferrada and the Templar castle.

All in all, good day (though lack of internet explains the delay in posting!)
