Autumn garden 2
This is an almost exact repeat of an image I posted this time last year, taken purely to document the changes resulting from work we've done in the garden this last year. In fact, these are relatively hard to spot and the overall structure of the garden remains remarkably constant. The autumn colour is definitely later this year - on the same date in 2015 the Viburnum foliage was showing deep burgundy tints and the Macleaya was quite golden. The flowering cherry is usually quite fiery for Alex's birthday on 13th October, but this year only a few leaves are turning red.
