Seven Magic Mountains

Sculpture by Ugo Rondinone stands in the desert outside Las Vegas, along Interstate 15, composed of seven towers of colourful, stacked boulders, some up to 30 feet high.  Such height and intense, neon colours in the middle of a great stretch of desert, are eye-catchers.  You can park and walk right out up to them.  Installed in May 2016, they are intended to be up for 2 years.  They seem like an alien colony sprouted in the desert.
