Dates

I went out with the intention of shooting a gorgeous pomegranate that I have been eyeing on our morning walk. It was the best specimen I have seen in the "wild", hanging off the branch perfectly, and surrounded by lovely green leaves. To my dismay, the owners had picked all the perfect ones and there were only two left ripening on the tree. 

Hmmmm, being in the fruit frame of mind, I came back and shot the dates on our neighbors palm trees. From one fruit to another, my mission is accomplished for the day.

I am grateful for the bounty of the season.
