Fresh Snow

As predicted yesterday’s foul weather delivered more snow to the mountains. Today, however, was sunny and warm.

My son and I did a lot of work in the garden. He attacked the grass, both long and short, while I pulled three barrow loads of weeds. Both grass and weeds are growing so fast at present we will never get ahead of them. I also rescued tiny poppy plants that have come up in inconvenient places. I haven’t done this before because poppies don’t like to have their roots disturbed, but I thought it was worth a try.
